Hon. Sowunmi, popularly known as LASEM, The Director General of Hon. Oluwatobi Doregoes, the House of Assembly candidate in Abeokuta South constituency 1, has rejected the election result which favored the PDP candidate in the local  government.

Recall that yesterday the PDP candidate was declared the winner  of the House of Assembly election in Abeokuta South constituency 1 after polling the highest votes.

But the DG while reacting said the election result presented by the presiding officer said Doregoes won the election.

Sowunmi in a statement personally signed by him said "We dissociate ourselves from this `rape on our democracy’ in the name house of assembly elections.”

He assured supporters of Doregoes  that they should remain calm that they will get his mandate back.

The DG maintained that Hon. Oluwatobi Doregoes won thee election and not the PDP candidate.
