IRETE-IJEBU INDIGENES COMMENDS GOVERNOR DAPO ABIODUN DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDE

Indigenes of Irete-Ijebu in Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State have commended the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun's developmental stride across the three senatorial districts of the State.   


Speaking with newsmen in Irete, the Chairman of Anowoneyo Area Community Development Committee (AACDC), Prince Saheed Dosumu who gave the commendation, posited that the Governor has done so much with attendant impact in the lives of citizens and has not rest on his oars especially in the area of infrastructural and economic development for sustainability.

Prince Dosumu opined that the intervention of the Governor in facilitating the Public Private Partnership in the ongoing reconstruction of Ala/Irete/Epe road,  renaming of the College in the town after Awujale of Ijebuland, now Oba Sikiru Adetona College of Education, Science  and Technology ( SACOETEC), donation of electricity  transformer to the town among other notable projects commissioned by the Governor across the State were more than enough to earn him second term in Office.


In his words, the Chairman of the AACDC stated that, "sincerely Prince Dapo Abiodun has performed excellently within the three and half years in Office as Executive Governor of the State".


Prince Dosumu added that Prince Dapo Abiodun is a silence achiever and had provided people orientated infrastructural development across the three senatorial district of the State.

He cited the yellow roof building projects spread across the State, upgrading and provision of modern health facilities in the State hospitals and primary health centers across the State, road construction as well as rehabilitation of decrepit ones were visible pointers to the efforts the Governor has made to improve the lives of indigenes and residents of the State. 


The AACDC Chairman stated that the electricity transformer given to Irete-Ijebu by the State Governor would enhance the socio-economic development of the town, adding that it would further deepen the impact of democracy and as well attract investors to the area.


He further pointed out that AACDC, Irete-Ijebu was determined to complete the ongoing construction/building of lock-up shops in the town's market and further solicited for more governmental  support and collaboration with AACDC on other developmental projects in Irete with a call on the electorates in the area to come out enmass on the governorship election day to cast their votes for Prince Dapo Abiodun and Hon. Atinuke Bello who has represented the area well. 


He went further to congratulate Senator-Elect, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and the House of Representatives-Elect, Barr. Femi Ogunbanwo aka Omo-Iwa on their well deserved victories at the just concluded elections, alluding it to their antecedents while praying for their successful tenure in Office.
