The Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Justice, Mr. Olusegun Olaotan has said discipline must be enforced, to further promote the improvement of staffers in all departments of the Ministry.
Mr. Olaotan made this known at the Ministry's conference room, Abeokuta, during a familiarisation meeting with management staff and Law Officers in the Ministry of Justice.
The Solicitor-General stated that he would create the right atmosphere for all members of staff to encourage their output, adding that different training and workshops would be organised for Law Officers in various departments.
He said, "My position as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Justice came with a mandate, therefore, I will enjoin you to promote unity, do not look down on anyone, avoid harassment or bully, do not hold grudges in the course of your duties and be fair to all".
Mr. Olaotan advised Law Officers to share knowledge with their colleagues, saying meetings would take place at regular intervals within the departments, to ensure cross-fertilisation of ideas in their dealings, urging them to be punctual, and well-dressed to depict the image of the profession.
