Dr Adewale Adenaike Reaffirms commitment to the eradication of economic stagnation

Ogun East Senatorial candidate in the 2023 general elections - Dr. Adewale Adenaike has reaffirmed his commitment to the eradication of economic stagnation with purposeful and progressive leadership when he is elected in the 2023 general elections as the Senator representing the people of Ogun East Senatorial District under the auspices of the Social Democratic Party.

In a message made available to newsmen in Ijebu-Imusin, during his door-to-door campaign, Dr. Adenaike said 2023 is different from 2019 because of the unique opportunity it offers the electorate to choose leaders that can give meaning and purpose to their lives.

While regretting that the people of Ogun East Senatorial District have been denied the benefit of the type of leadership he offers, Dr. Adenaike urged them to ensure that they take advantage of the 2023 elections to change the narrative by voting candidates, like himself, who see public office as an opportunity to serve rather than being served.

*"Our people have suffered so much neglect because the quality of representation before now has not matched the type of leadership that brings purpose and progress to the lives of our people despite the enormous economic potentials that reside in the senatorial district."*

Speaking further, Dr. Adenaike said: "my entrance into the race is not for the feathering of my nest but for the purpose of changing the underdevelopment narrative that our people have been subjected to all these years. There is no part of the Senatorial District that has enjoyed any meaningful development since our nation returned to democratic governance in 1999, yet we are part of this highly blessed nation with our own fair share of natural resources. I intend to turn Ogun East into investment haven with consequential employment and economic benefit for all"

The leading Senatorial Candidate, according to opinion polls, who recently had his candidacy reaffirmed by the Supreme Court, in a unanimous decision, as the validly elected representative of his Party, said the people of Ogun East must not make the error of electing the wrong person as that will mean another four years of stagnation and absence of the dividends of democracy, he concluded.
