The Special Adviser and Managing Director, Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation (OPIC ), Arc. Abiodun Fari- Arole has hinted that the Kings Court Estate Phase II, comprising 42 units apartment and 12 units semi- detached duplex located along the Presidential Boulevard, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta will be completed in year 2023.
Arc. Fari - Arole dropped this hint in Abeokuta during the Year 2023 Thanksgiving Service of the Coporation, saying other landmark projects would also commenced after the completion of Estate.
The Managing Director added that construction of the Kings Court Phase I was of 31 villa 5- bedroom apartment with attached boys quarter located along the Presidential Boulevard, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta began during the commencement of the Prince Dapo Abiodun- led administration and commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2022.
He stated " I want to take this opportunity to appreciate the Management and Staff of this Corporation for their support given to me over the years. I hope and pray that OPIC will be able to accomplish greater things in the year 2023. We intend to complete the Phase II of the Kings Court before the end of the first quarter of this year and thereafter move to other landmark activities".
Delivering a speech , the special guest of honour and a former President of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo lauded the OPIC boss for the giant strides recorded in housing sector of the State during the previous year , commending the cooperation of staffers of the Agency.
According to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo " Those of you who are partial observers will know that OPIC had been rejuvenated since the advent of this Managing Director Fari- Arole. It is the love shown among yourselves that is enhancing the progress of the Corporation".
In his sermon, the Chief Imam of Ayepe Central mosque Shiek Sefiu Awosanya said love, tolerance and forgiveness were fundamental in any society noting that without them there would be no progress in life.
Awosanya admonished the staff to continue to work in peace and harmony to maximise their potentials.
In her remark the Head of Personnel Mrs. Abidemi Adeyemi appreciated the organiser of the event saying, it was an avenue for them to praise God for the achievements in the previous years and promised to ensure better performance from the workforce of the Coporation.
