The Director General, Bureau of Public Procurement, Dr. Adesina Olanloye has reassured officials of the State government that the Bureau of Public Procurement in the State would continue to regulate and moderate procurement activities, to achieve transparency, accountability, fairness and value for money.

Dr. Olanloye gave the assurance during the sensitisation and an interactive session between his team and officials of Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) at Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta.

He pointed out that the present administration was committed to the reformation of the procurement process in the State, urging all procuring entities to follow due process in achieving transparency and accountability in the discharge of their functions.

In his remark, the Chairman, SUBEB, Dr. Femi Majekodunmi appreciated the team from the Bureau for the enlightenment and basic understanding of the Public Procurement process, promising to follow due process and conform to the Public Procurement (Amendment) Law, 2021.
