The Acting Director-General of Ogun State Bureau of Lands and Survey, Barr. Emmanuel Akande has assured members of staff of the agency of a conducive working environment and adequate welfare package, to enhance their productivity.
Barr. Akande, who was a former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Lands (Legal), gave the assurance during a meeting with staffers of the Bureau at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, said the well-being of workers was paramount to organisational growth and development.
The Acting Director-General stated that the staffers needed to shun any act that could tarnish the image of the Bureau, urging them to embrace teamwork and cross-fertilise ideas for effective implementation of the government’s policies and programmes.
He also enjoined them to be more dedicated to their duties, saying “let us all work together in unity and love, as well as pray for one another. No one is an island of knowledge, the best of everyone will be projected where there is team spirit which will contribute to the growth of the Bureau".
In his part, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Lands (GIS), Mr. Remi Oluwabiyi called for synergy among all the cadres in the Bureau for the accomplishment of tasks.
Also speaking, the State Surveyor-General, Sury. Oladele Ewulo emphasised the need to encourage a mutual relationship between the superior and subordinate officers, noting that no stone should be left unturned in the discharge of their duties.
Responding on behalf of the other members of staff, ESV. Saheed Salam and Mr.Rotimi Madandola appreciated the Acting DG and his team for their words of encouragement, promising that all hands would be on deck to achieve the target for the year.
