The Founder and National Coordinator of an APC accredited Support Group - Tinubu Faithful Group (TFG), Hon. Olusola Orelaja has reacted to the endorsement of the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi by former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

In his reaction, Orelaja in a phone conversation with the TFG media crew, said the former Nigerian President has the democratic rights to endorse Peter Obi as his choice, but Asiwaju Bola Ahmed will surely floor Peter Obi and Atiku in the next Presidential Election come February 2023.

Furthermore, the National Coordinator of the Group said Peter Ob, has no political structure to which  Obasanjo endorsement will make a difference.

"The ex-president was a former PDP member and so cross carpeting to LP to edge pass the APC Candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the coming election will be a failure".

Orelaja went on to say "our Candidate is not bothered about Obasanjo endorsing Obi because he has never supported a Yoruba to become a Nigeria President borne out of jealousy. I remember he supported Goodluck Jonathan the then incumbent PDP Candidate in 2015, he failed. He further supported Atiku in 2019 and also failed therefore the 2023 endorsement will be of no significance.

Orelaja in his strong support backed his principal who said, "The endorsement is actually worthless because the former President does not possess any political goodwill or leverage anywhere in Nigeria to make anyone win a Councillorship election let alone win a Presidential election. He is a political paperweight".

In conclusion, the Tinubu Faithful Group (TFG) Coordinator said that even as some of the leaders of Afenifere, a Yoruba cultural group supported Peter Obi, and that as could be seen, Tinubu was not bothered because he has worked hard for the support he garnered in the entire country today.

Olusola Orelaja advised all Faithful Group members all over Nigeria as well as all well-meaning Nigerians to get their PVCs ready to vote in the strategist of our time in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to succeed President Mohammed Buhari come February 2023.
