OGUN JUDICIARY SWEARS-IN 38 GRADE 11 CUSTOMARY COURT MEMBERS

    The Chief Judge of Ogun State,  Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu has sworn-in 38 newly appointed Grade 11 Customary Court members, to enhance prompt dispensation of justice in the State.

        

  Justice Dipeolu made this known in Abeokuta, during the swearing-in  ceremony of the members, saying the appointment was based on trust and confidence to discharge the duties expected of them.

     

     She stated that the appointees had special roles to play, towards ensuring that Justice was delivered at all times, to improve the laurels embedded in the State Judiciary. 

         

    The Chief Judge said, "as members of Customary Court that has been administered under oath, you have to be good ambassadors of each jurisdiction you represent because you are closer to the grassroots, cultivate the act of judgement writing and be abreast of all matters at every point in time".

         

    In his remarks, the President, Customary Court of Appeal,  Justice Mobolaji Ojo urged the newly appointed members to display high integrity on the job, saying  they were  to act on judgement in their vaious jurisdictions. 

         

   Justice Ojo noted that each selection had been on strict procedure,  advising them to always display high efficiency, so as to enhance justice dispensation to the public.

       

   Speaking on behalf of the newly appointed Grade 11 Customary Court members, Alhaji Tajudeen Sokunbi expressed delight to be part of those administered on oat by the Chief Judge, saying they would discharge their duties according to the law without compromise.
