Ogun state cyclists made the state proud again with gold medals in the cycling team event at the on going 21st National Sports Festival in Warri, Delta state. 

    Team Ogun defeated other states in the 4km pursuit category to clinch the gold medals at a record time.

     The cyclists, Emmanuel Agbebi, Usman Akinsemoyin, Abiodun Akinsanya and Azeez Lawal who represented the state in the event attribute their achievements to the preparation and support of the state government under Prince Dapo Abiodun to cycling sport in the state and promised more medals in the event.

      Speaking, the commissioner for youth and sports, Dr. Oluwadare Kehinde said he is confident that team Ogun would make the state proud not only in cycling but in all the events they are participating because of their smart preparedness and experience.
