The Special Assistant to Governor Dapo Abiodun MFR on OGWAMA, Otunba Odutayo Abiodun (Iwogbe) has urged Constituents of Ijebu North II comprising of Oru-Awa-Ilaporu, Ago Iwoye, Mamu and it's environs to continue to support the Dapo Abiodun's administration in Ogun State, noting that the achievements recorded in the Constituency must be sustained and consolidated, which can only be done if Abiodun is reelected in 2023.
Odutayo made this statement while empowering over forty (40) Constituents selected from the five (5) wards of the Constituency. The empowerment which was done to support businesses of small and medium scale enterprises was assured to be carried out more often. He hinted that the Yuletide gifts to Constituents will be distributed before the Christmas festival to ease the burden of Constituents while trying to meet ends meet.
Speaking earlier, the coordinator of the empowerment scheme, Mr Ola Okubena iterated that, the selection process was done after establishing that the prospective beneficiaries have an existing businesses. He furthered that another set of beneficiaries will be selected in matter of months.
In their show of appreciation, some of the beneficiaries applauded the Governor's aide for remembering them almost monthly.
"Within two months, you always find a way of making us laugh, through you, we are having a direct impact of government, and for us Governor Abiodun that you told us to continue to support, we shall not relent", a beneficiary noted.
At the gathering were leaders of repute across the wards as well as community leaders.
