The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condoled with the family of Barr. (Mrs.) Bolanle Raheem whose life was cut short by the bullet of an Assistant Superintendent of Police, Mr. Candi Drambi around Ajah, Lagos on Sunday 25th December, 2022.

In his statement of condolences, Asiwaju Tinubu shared the grief over what he described as a senseless killing by the ASP Drambi. He emphasized "the avoidable tragedy which cost a family their beloved member and the country a diligent legal professional, underscores, yet again, the crucial importance and urgency of reforming the Nigerian Police Force". Asiwaju reiterated further the importance of the constitutional mandate of the Police Force which was to protect the people and keep peace rather than create on them death, injury or undue harassments.

The APC Presidential Flagbearer called on the Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Alkali Baba to ensure speedy justice in the matter and implement measures designed to uphold professionalism; and he condoled the family of the deceased.
