Ogun State Head of Service, Dr. Nafiu Aigoro, says his unscheduled familiarisation visit to Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) within the government secretariat at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, was to ensure that workers perform their jobs in accordance with the Civil Service rules and regulations.

Dr. Aigoro said this during the visit, urging the Civil Servants to continue to be diligent and loyal to the government of the day and ensure that they make patriotism, dedication and commitment to duty their watchwords.

The Head of Service expressed satisfaction with the conduct of staff in the MDAs visited, assuring that their welfare would continue to receive utmost priority.

Receiving the Head of Service at the Ministry of Forestry, the Commissioner, Engr. Taiwo Oludotun, appreciated him for his efforts at making the Service flourish, stating that the management staff and other officers in the agency would keep the flag flying.

Also at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Commissioner, Hon. Adijat Oladapo-Adeleye, lauded Dr. Aigoro for the visit and assured of continued synergy between the political heads and the Civil Servants.

In the Head of Service entourage were the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Service Matters, Mr. Dahunsi Ogunleye, his counterpart from the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Mr. Jola Oyeneye, Directors from the Bureau of Service Matters, Mr. Oyebanji Omoniyi and Mr. Abubakar Adeduntan, among others.

The MDAs visited include, Ministries of Urban Development and Physical Planning, Housing, Works and Infrastructure, Agriculture, as well as the Bureau of Electrical and Engineering Services (BEES), State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and many more.
