Ogun State former Commissioner for Youth and Sports Hon. Bukola Olawale Olopade has declared full support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidential ambition and second term in office of Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo of All progressive Congress (APC) in the incoming 2023 general election as he empowered over 150 citizens of the State.

Olopade who revealed this during the 4th edition of Bukola Olawale Olopade Movement (BOOM) empowerment programme for various groups and associations which include market men and women Automobile, Nurses, Aged and Artisans across the 15 Wards in Abeokuta South Local Government Area of the State. 

Hon. Olopade urged well meaning Nigerians to lend arms to government through provision of basic amenities and empowerment to people as government alone cannot shoulder the responsibility of satisfying the citizens need.

He said Yorubas need to reciprocate the good gestures of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for building human with high profile and integrity while urging the South West indigenes to give their total support to Asiwaju's aspirations, saying that the present administration led by Prince Dapo Abiodun has shown commitment to the people of Ogun State through the provision of good infrastructural development, world best standard agricultural initiative as well as completion of almost 95% of all abandoned projects of the immediate past administration in the State.

Olopade said that the cargo airport initiated by Otunba. Gbenga Daniel's administration, if completed this December 2022, by Prince Dapo Abiodun, would generate 5,000 direct and 5,000 indirect jobs, stressing that most of the abaundoned roads projects by the past administration had been completed by present administration.

The former Commissioner also disclosed that arrangements had been concluded at the Federal level that 2024 National Sport Festival would be hosted by the Ogun State Government, stating that the positive economic effects of the festival would be felt across the nooks and crannies of the State, as the activities would boost Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMSEs) Businesses amongst other benefits.

One of the beneficiaries of the cash empowerment, Mr. Akinsola Ibrahim said the cash empowerment would go a long way at boosting his business, urging well meaning individuals and corporate bodies in the society as well as politicians to emulate the good gesture of Hon. Bukola Olawale Olopade by extending such hand of love to less privilege and their immediate constituents.

The highlight of the event witnessed the presentation of cash empowerment by Hon. Bukola Olawale Olopade to over 150 inhabitants of the State, as he also promise to sponsored two siblings of the late Pastor Oloyede to university level while the other three siblings were empowered with different equipment that are relevant to their various skills of interest.
