In continuation of its administration's commitment to improve the justice delivery system in Ogun State, the present government has earmarked N3.866,495,633.12 for the judicial sector in its 2023 budget proposal.

The State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun disclosed this during the presentation of the 2023 Appropriation Bill tagged: “Budget of Continued Development and Prosperity” to the State House of Assembly at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

Governor Abiodun said the Budget of year 2023 was important, as it leads the State to another chapter in governance and development, explaining that the N3.866,495,863,.12 allocated to judicial sector represents one percent of the total N472.280,694,447.58 proposed for the State in the next fiscal year.

In his remark, the Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo, appreciated the State government for providing vibrant leadership with an assurance that the State legislators would give necessary support and cooperation for the passage of the budget, to facilitate the provision of needed infrastructure for the benefit of the people of the State.
