OGSG PROPOSES SYNERGY WITH ORGANISED PRIVATE SECTOR

 



In line with the drive of the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration to improve the Ease of Doing Business, the Ogun State Government says it is ready to partner with the Organised Private Sector Network.


Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe made this known during a meeting with the leadership of the Ogun State Organised Private Sector Network, who paid her a courtesy visit in her Office, in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, saying the synergy would be done through the State Action on Business Enabling Environment Reforms (SABER) programme.


Longe added that the present administration focused on promoting Public-Private-Partnerships (PPP), stating that ‘’the programme will be mutually beneficial to aid business environment, as well as business owners to run their businesses in a sustainable way’’.


In his contribution, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Olu. Ola. Aikulola, represented by the Director of Geological Services, Mr. Lekan Eniolawun, lauded the collaboration of different business membership organisations, assuring that the Ministry would continue to provide relevant support to the Network.


Speaking earlier, the Executive Secretary, Ogun State Organised Private Sector Network, Mr. Olaolu Ogundeyi said the body was a coalition of all private sector organisations with a rotational form of leadership among members, appreciating the Ministry for identifying with them towards the success of the SABER programme in Ogun State.
