Workers in the Ogun State Civil Service have been admonished on greater dedication to duty towards effective delivery of the present administration’s ‘’Building Our Future Together’’ agenda and the ‘’ISEYA’’ mantra.
The Head of Service, Dr. Nafiu Aigoro made the call today while fielding questions from journalists on workers' resumption after a day public holiday declared by the Federal Government in commemoration of the 62nd Nigeria’s Independence anniversary of the country.
Aigoro, who appreciated God and the workers for their commitment and diligence over the years, said Civil Servants had roles to play in ensuring that the policies and programmes of Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration were well implemented, to enable the people to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
"I want to use this opportunity to charge the workforce to re-dedicate themselves to duty after the holiday and I hope that you will remain committed to the service of Ogun State and Nigeria at large", Dr. Aigoro stated.
The Head of Service assured the workers of government's efforts at ensuring adequate welfare and prayed to God to continue to endow Governor Dapo Abiodun with good health and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the State to a greater height.
