Towards ensuring effective delivery of projects, development partners are expected to work in tandem with the host State towards achieving set goals, particularly in data compilation and monitoring.

Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina said this in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, while hosting a team from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), led by its Senior Planning Advisor, Nil Wetzel.

Odedina commended GIZ for assisting the State to achieve its objectives in the area of Agriculture and other sectors of the economy, advocating for linkage to fund, mechanisation, access to information and sustainable supply of agricultural inputs, and appealed for support in capacity building of new farmers to keep them abreast of happenings in the sector.

Earlier in his presentation, the GIZ team leader, Wetzel said the visit was to gather information and feedback to help them in planning and preparation for the new phase of its programme which would take-off soon in the State.
