As part of efforts to improve people’s standard of living, Ogun State Agricultural and Multipurpose Credit Agency (OSAMCA) has initiated ‘Dapo Abiodun Empowerment Kiosk’ to enable Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to expand their businesses for socio-economic growth of the State.

The General Manager, OSAMCA Mr. Olugbenga Abolaji-Isreal who made this known during an interview with journalists in Abeokuta, noted that this would reduce unemployment rate, with a multiplying effect on the socio-economic development of the State, saying ‘’the initiative is part of the Dapo Abiodun Empowerment Programme (DAEP), targeted at people who were either engaged in business or about to venture in one’’.

 Abolaji-Isreal stated that interested applicants should obtain forms at the OSAMCA headquarters, Governor’s Office Secretariat, Block B, 2nd floor, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, at the rate of ₦5,000 only.

He added that the Kiosk would be sold for ₦150,000, while OSAMCA would make ₦100,000 available for the purchase of items of choice to be sold, making it a sum of ₦250,000 which would be paid back weekly for six months, pointing out that interested candidates could also specify items to be sold as contained in the form.
