The ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC) Youth leaders in Abeokuta South Constituency 1, on  Tuesday empowered people with disability  with  wheelchairs and clutches as to aid their mobility.

The progressive youth leaders also doled out cash to the  less privileged people in the community as to set them up to earn a living.

The head of the APC youth leaders,  Comrade Kabiru Odedairo during the presentation of the materials at the Youth Summit held at Centenary Hall, Ake, Abeokuta with the theme tagged "Roles  of the Youths In The Society And 2023 General Elections'' maintained that the gesture was borne out of giving succour to the needy.

He said they considered the gesture  imperative to assist them with the wheel chairs and clutches to facilitate their movement to do something for themselves for a living.

He hinted that the program is not only to enlighten people of the community on the up coming general elections but to also use the avenue  to give succour to the needy and assist people within the community so that they can be self sustaining and help others

Comrade Odedairo also expressed their readiness to support the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates to win in 2023.

He added the youths of the local government have begun mobilization for the current Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, saying that the governor has not failed the Youths generally in the State.

The youth leader said "Government alone cannot solve the burden of unemployment and feeding of the less privileged and we are worried about the fact that a lot of people are hungry, jobless and the only thing they need is a kind of engagement that can offer them three square meal, so out of the little i and other youth leaders in the local government pull  our resources together and and sourced for sponsors  from philanthropists to acquire all those things we giving our today'' 

The Special Assistant to Governor Abiodun on Youth and Sports, Hon. Rasheed Aroboto urged the Youths in the state to work  for the victory of all APC candidates in the State, adding that APC has a lot to offer the youths.

He noted that current administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun has never failed the Youths, adding that youths have benefitted a lot from the Governor, calling on him to pay him back by re-electing in 2023.

Also the house of representatives candidate, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Afolabi Moruf Afuape commended the APC youth leaders for organizing the event.

He added that he was happy with the youth leaders for remembering the less privileged people and the people with disability.

Afuape noted that the Youth leaders will be remembered for life for their kind gesture.

The beneficiaries of the outreach expressed their deep gratitude to the APC youth leaders as they were overwhelmed with joy to receive required aid which they never had access to due to financial situations.
