The new executive of the Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMA) have been urged to build on the achievements of the immediate-past executive, to assist the State in its economic developmental drive.
Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe made the call when the Executive, led by the Chambers’ new President, Engr. Mike Akingbade paid her a courtesy visit at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
Longe said the present administration believed in the ability of OGUNCCIMA towards the commercial growth of the State, assuring of her Ministry’s continued support for the Chambers and other private organisations in the attainment of their objectives, as well as various reforms and initiatives geared to create enabling environment for businesses.
In his welcome address, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Olu. Ola. Aikulola, described OGUNCCIMA as a partner with experienced business owners appealing to the members to be open to different valuable ideas which would aid their organisation's growth.
Also speaking, the new OGUNCCIMA President, Engr. Akingbade said the Chambers would continue to enhance entrepreneurship to impact positively on the economy of the State and of the people, saying the present leadership would sustain the mutual relationship existing between the State government and the Chambers.
Akingbade added that the OGUNCCIMA would improve on its Fish and Trade Fairs, holding in November 2022.
