Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, has gone round to monitor the level of preparedness as schools resume the new academic session.

Arigbabu, who led the monitoring team to Abeokuta, Ijebu and Remo axis of the State, said he was impressed with the level of readiness in the schools, noting that the visit was to ascertain the infrastructure needed to be put in place by the government.

The Commissioner pointed out that some of the schools had forwarded records of their infrastructural data to the Ministry, saying ‘’it is necessary for us to find out what should be done in some of the schools, as the government is committed to the revitalisation of the education sector. l want to encourage all learners to be of good conduct’’.

In their remarks, the Principal, Remo Secondary School, (Senior), Mrs. Olubunmi Shuaibu and her counterpart in Agunbiade Victory High School, Mrs. Christianah Odeyele said the schools had resumed fully and were ready to ensure smooth teaching and learning activities for the session.

Other schools visited in Ijebu axis include, Molipa High School, Our Savior Anglican Primary School, Italowajoda, Wesley Primary School, Moslem Primary and Comprehensive High School, Ijebu-Ode, while Soyindo Community High School and Remo Secondary School in Remo and Agunbiade Victory High School, Abeokuta.
