The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has been lauded for his achievements in the provision of infrastructure and other amenities across the State.
The new President of Yewa Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (YECCIMA), Otunba Wasiu Taiwo gave the commendation after he was sworn in at the Chamber's office in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government Area.
Taiwo noted that the efforts of the present administration on ongoing reconstruction of Owode/Ilaro road, would enhance the commercial and economic growth of the area, adding that the transformation of the State Hospital, Ilaro, and primary health centers in the council area had engendered healthy living of the people.
According to him, "I want to thank members of YECCIMA for the opportunity to serve and contribute to the socio-economic development of Yewaland. I also want to commend our Governor for the provision of infrastructure and other amenities across the State’’.
Otunba Taiwo promised that the new executive of the Chamber would contribute their quota towards ensuring economic growth and development of Yewaland, enjoining members to give the new executive necessary support needed to take it to a greater height.
On his part, the immediate past President of the Chamber, Alhaji Sijuade Idowu, charged the new executive to build on the achievements of the last administration and commended the present government for prompt maintenance of the technical and skill acquisition centres across the State, calling for the resuscitation of the Ilaro skill acquisition center.
