The Chairman, Yewa South Local Government  Area of Ogun State, Hon. Lateef Salami has restated his commitment to improving the welfare of workers in the council area.

Hon. Salami gave the assurance while speaking with OGIS correspondent in Ilaro, on the renovation and beautification of the secretariat, saying a conducive working environment would increase productivity.

The council Chairman stated that the provision of infrastructure in the nooks and crannies of the area, as well as installation of solar light, construction of a gatehouse with a perimeter fence in the secretariat, and prompt payment of salaries were in line with the developmental strides of Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration.

He pointed out that his government would continue to put in place measures that would make life more meaningful for the council's workforce and the entire people of the Local Government, enjoining them not to relent in giving adequate support to the government.
