Gbuyi Alaba Ogunsola, the Giwa Egbe Degbuyi Remo, will today, celebrate his fifty years of glorious existence on the planet earth, and most importantly, of God's mercy, favour, and grace upon his life, and that of his family.

As part of activities celebrating the milestone, a get-together has been slated to hold today at the celebrant's residence at Mushin, Lagos, where relations, friends, associates, and members of Egbe Degbuyi Remo, would be hosted to a birthday lunch.

Earlier in the day, a private family church thanksgiving will hold, to appreciate God's goodness in his life.

A native of Ofin, Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria; Alaba was born on the 30th August 1972, into the family of Late Mr. E.K. Ogunsola, and Mrs. Bosede Ogunsola, nee Ogunbase.

He attended the Wesley School, and Remo Secondary School, both in Sagamu, for his primary and secondary education.

Giwa Ogunsola, is a graduate of Economics from the prestigious Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, and presently the MD/CEO, Alex Matrix Nigeria Limited, a company that deals in the sales of Hi-Tech sewing machines and accessories.

A loving husband and caring father, Ogunsola is happily married to his childhood love, Mrs. Adetutu Ogunsola, and the marriage is blessed with two wonderful children.

He was sworn in as the Giwa Egbe Degbuyi Remo, on 2nd November, 2019, and under his leadership, the foremost traditional age-grade group in Remoland, has been growing tremendously, and recording monumental achievements, consolidating on the solid foundation laid during the tenure of the Pioneer Coordinator, Gbuyi Adesanya Amos.

As he celebrates this great milestone, he is wished a happy and eventful moment, and many fruitful and rewarding years ahead.
