A House of Assembly candidate, Abeokuta North Local Government, under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Tunde Tella  has congratulated Muslims in Ogun state,  Nigeria and across the world on the occasion of the 2020 Eid-el-Kabir.

In his felicitation statement, Tella said, ‘As we celebrate Allah’s benevolence, it is important for us to pause and reflect on the significance of this celebration, which highlights the need for sacrifice and the benefits thereof’.

‘By his willingness to sacrifice his son in fulfilment of his earlier promise to Almighty Allah, Prophet Ibrahim(ASW) demonstrated the need for us to be willing to make sacrifices for our desired goals & faithful to our pledges.

”This lesson couldn’t have been timelier as the present situation in the country is such that calls for sacrifices on the part of all Nigerians.

The ex caretaker chairman  called on Islamic faithfuls, to seek for Allah’s divine intervention in prayers for an end of insecurity.

Tella said “We are confident that with prayers and the needed sacrifices, Allah will show us mercy and intervene to solve insecurity  ravaging the country. 

He appealed to Muslims in the state to use the period to pray for the current administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun as to take the State to a greater height.
