Ogun State Ministry  of Information and Strategy has been commended for its evolving broadcast and print messages in the propagation of the democratic gains of the ISEYA Mantra of the Prince Dapo  Abiodun led administration to the people of the State. 

Members of the House Committee on Information, Culture and Tourism led by Hon. Yusuf Adejojo, gave the commendation while appraising the Ministry's Budget  performance alongside that of the State Television and the State Broadcasting Corporation held at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The Lawmakers in their respective submissions acknowledged the efforts of the information teams of OGBC and OGTV for its innovative measures that had sustained a two-way communication between the government and the people; saying that the were now being adequately informed about government's activities; thus bringing the needed feedbacks to the government.

They however challenged the management to improve on the revenue of the Ministry and the State owned broadcasting stations, including paid patronage from government-owned agencies.

In his response, the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Abdul-Waheed Odusile stated that the Ministry and the media stations were irrevocably committed to the mission of bringing government closer to the people and generally improve their enlightenment and awareness programmes about government's activities.

The lawmakers also appraised the budget performance of the State Bureau of ICT and Printing Corporation amongst others.
