As part of efforts to discover all perpetrators involved in any illegal land dealings in Ogun State, the Chairman of the Judicial Commission of Enquiry on land matters, Justice Solomon Olugbemi (Rtd.), has said that the Committee would determine witnesses to be summoned, while submission of petitions have been extended to August 5, 2022.
Justice Olugbemi stated this while reviewing the existing petitions at the conference room of the Ministry of Justice, Abeokuta, noting that contacts of witnesses should be clearly stated in the petition.
The Chairman said officers in Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) of government concerned with land matters would be invited, pointing out that all receipts to be presented should be issued by the Treasury Cash Office, as only petitions involving State government matters would be attended to.
He urged parties to present all genuine documentation of land acquired, adding that only relevant representatives to the petitions would be invited and not the entire community.
