Prior to the inauguration of the Judicial Commission of Enquiry on Land Allocation and Documentation, aggrieved parties have been called upon to submit their petitions not later than Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
A statement signed by the Secretary of the Commission, Mr. James Olubankole Mafe, revealed that the Commission will hold its sittings at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Justice, Governor's Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
Consequently, the Commission seeks memoranda from concerned parties and all other interested persons, adding that the memoranda should be ten (10) copies of type-written petitions in font 14 and double-spaced to be submitted to the Commission Registry located in the Conference room, Ministry of Justice, Governor's office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State with a soft copy of same forwarded to the Commission's email address, [email protected].
The Commission requests that the petitioners may appear physically or virtually depending on the circumstances or be represented before it during the public hearing to orally support the memoranda, and petitions are to include names as well as addresses, including contact phone numbers, e-mails of the petitioners and witnesses.
The Commission also stated that dates of the public hearing shall be communicated to the parties, while all memoranda shall be addressed to 'The Secretary, Judicial Commission of Enquiry on Land Allocation, Ministry of Justice Conference Room, State Secretariat Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State, with telephone numbers 08072711112, 08127300007
