In its efforts towards harnessing the views of the members of the public in the ongoing Fifth Alterations of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Ogun State House of Assembly will on Wednesday, 13th July, 2022 hold a public hearing on the amendment bills.

The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo, who disclosed this during a plenary in Abeokuta, added that the forum was to avail all necessary stakeholders, including concerned professional bodies and non-governmental organisations, the opportunity to lend their voice to the amendments. 

The forum according to him, would take place at the Assembly Complex, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta at 10:00am prompt, while urging all the stakeholders to be seated at 9.30 am.
