Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has singled out Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah as an incredible threat ahead of both teams’ FA Community Shield on Saturday.
Man City will tackle Liverpool in this year’s Community Shield at the King Power Stadium.
Liverpool may have lost Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich this summer, but Salah penned a new deal at Anfield and remained one of the Premier League’s most dangerous talents.
And Guardiola is now saying that he is not breaking any news admitting that the Egyptian captain is exceptional.
I’m not saying anything new because we know it,” Guardiola said at his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s tie.
“He [Salah] is exceptional, an incredible threat. We will try to win the game,” he added.
Salah has scored 118 league goals in 180 games for Liverpool so far, but Guardiola has some new threats of his own this summer.
Guardiola signed the likes of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez.
The kick-off time for the Community Shield is 5 pm, Nigerian time.
