Details of Liverpool’s contract for Benfica’s Darwin Nunez have been revealed.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Nunez has signed a six-year contract with Liverpool that will see him remain at Anfield until 2028.

Romano disclosed this in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Sunday.

He said the 22-year-old would complete his medical in England on Monday, adding that Liverpool.

Romano tweeted: “Here we go confirmed for Darwin Núñez > Liverpool deal.

“Deal done yesterday, meeting in Portugal. Darwin now in Spain.

“Medicals tomorrow in England. Contract until 2028, six year deal. Liverpool will pay €80m fee plus €20m add ons. Never been in doubt.”
