The senior special assistant to Governor Abiodun on health matters, Dr. Ololade Kehinde has saluted the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo for his the sagacity and bravery to contest for presidential primary election
Abiodun's aide described Osinbajo as a proud son of Ogun State, adding that he will continue to be remembered in the history of the state. He has always demonstrated a national outlook and love for the Nigerian nation. A professor of repute and exceptional intellectual. He his indeed an asset to the nation. He thanked everyone who stood by the VP during the elections.
Ololade also congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his victory as the flagbearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Tinubu, a former Lagos State governor, polled 1271 votes in total to clinch the ticket ahead of former minister of transportation Rotimi Amaechi, vice president Yemi Osinbajo and Senate President Ahmad Lawan.
Ololade submitted that Tinubu’s victory at the APC presidential primary election at Eagles Square in Abuja was a show of his political tenacity.
Abiodun's aide noted that with Tinubu’s victory, APC will definitely win and stood a good chance of retaining power in 2023
He noted that Nigerians across the board recognized his contributions to the nation’s development.
Ololade said Tinubu is a dogged fighter.
He therefore described the election as free, fair and transparent.
He finally welcomed back all Ogun state delegates from the convention
