The senior special assistant to Governor Abiodun on health matters, Dr. Ololade Kehinde has felicitated Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Democracy Day.

The APC chieftain  also congratulated the residents of Ogun state as they witness another democracy day.

This was disclosed in a statement personally signed by Abiodun's aide and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta

While congratulating  Nigerians and residents of Ogun State for this year’s Democracy Day, Ololade expressed confidence that the country would overcome its current challenges.

He noted that this year’s Democracy Day is historic coming on the eve of the 2023 general elections.

Ololade  urged Nigerians to appreciate the sacrifices being made by President Muhammadu  Buhari to sustain the country’s unity.

 He said since there would not be any development without peace, Nigerians should support the President’s efforts to end the current spate of insecurity.

Ololade also used the medium to commend the Ogun  State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his great giant strides in the state.

He added that Dapo Abiodun has never disappointed the people of the state since his assumption of office.

He however commended the residents of the State for  their commitment and cooperation with the state government in the execution of its agenda. 

Ololade  used the occasion to call on Nigerian leaders at all levels to intensify efforts at making the country’s democracy work for the people.

“In order to protect this hard-earned democracy, we must work harmoniously to improve on our electoral system

”We should never forget the sacrifices of our heroes past.

“In spite of the challenges we are facing as a nation, we must remain resolute to keep alive the dreams of our founding fathers.” he concluded
