Determined to deliver massive housing projects, the Ogun State Government said it will continue to encourage private developers willing to partner with the present administration through a friendly housing policy.
Omoniyi dropped the hint in Abeokuta, when he received a team from the Pelican Valley Estate, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo, saying the contributions of private developers in the delivery of housing projects could not be underestimated.
The Commissioner noted that the adoption of the Foreclosure Law employed by the government was to protect the genuine investors that want to venture into the mortgage business and to make the construction of housing projects easy.
He expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the management of Pelican Valley Estate on the manner it has been handling the building business, acknowledging the organisation as a fast-growing real estate developer based on his achievements in a very short time.
"Let me congratulate and appreciate you. Going through your biography, I can see you're a trained journalist, now into building business, and you're not just doing it, but have achieved tremendously in the business within the short period", Jagunmolu noted.
In his remark, Dr. Adeyemo appreciated the State government through the Ministry of Housing for its giant strides in the housing sector, saying the company has been complementing the present administration's efforts at solving the challenge of the housing deficit.
He commended the State government on the provision of infrastructural amenities, urging it to facilitate a road network along Kobape/Abeokuta axis to serve as an alternative route.
