A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Advocacy for Peace and Values Reorientation, Abuja, has nominated the Ogun State Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Mr. Olaolu Olabimtan as one of the most ethically responsible and service-oriented individuals, whose contributions toward the development of the State is evident, whilst impacting good governance on the polity.

          The formal notification of Nomination and Presentation of Certificate of Integrity Stewardship Award dated June 4, 2022, and signed by the Executive Director of the group, Comrade Abubakar Oyibo, was received at the Ministry.

          The letter added that the Commissioner would be presented with the Certificate of Integrity Stewardship Award on June 30, 2022 at his office in Abeokuta

          According to the letter, the NGO, which comprises professional and highly skilled volunteers is working towards a free and corrupt society that promotes ethical leadership and awakens the spirit of selfless service among the citizens.

          It further indicated that the nomination of Mr. Olaolu Olabimtan, as an award recipient followed a well-conducted Confidential Independent Assessment using opinion polls, questionnaires, interviews with informants, opinion sampling, field assessment, report writing, comments and votes on social media on his activities as a commissioner, as well as his performance in the State.
