Ijebu North Local Government Chairman, Honourable Mobolaji Odusanya has flagged off the year 2022 campaign vaccination against Measles and Yellow Fever at  the Ojowo Health Center in Ijebu Igbo. 

The campaign exercise which is being carried out in all Health Center  of the Local Government is to create Room for people to have access to health delivery services and get vaccinated in order to prevent the spread  of Measles and Yellow Fever within the Local Government Area.

The LG Boss in his speech, commend the Doctors and the team efforts and urged all the nursing mothers to ensure they get the required vaccination for their babies. 

Also Speaking, Director for Primary Health Care  Dr. Solaja Oluwafunmilayo at the flagged off educated all the nursing mothers and others  on the importance of getting the vaccination from 9months to 59months for Measles and  9months to 44 years for Yellow Fever are eligible to be vaccinated .

She however reiterated that  in order to completely reduce to the minimal the morbidity and mortality rate of death due to  negligence of proper health care necessitates the good gesture by State Government  to create a Proper health care delivery for the people.

Highlights of the event include administering oral vaccination to babies by the council boss.
