The Ogun State Head of Service, Dr. Nafiu Aigoro has showered encomium on the management of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) of government, for effective implementation of the present administration’s policies and programmes.

 Dr. Aigoro gave the commendation during his familiarisation visit to some MDAs at the State Secretariat, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta, lauding the effort of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment for their remarkable achievements and turnaround of the agency.

 He appreciated the Commissioner, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe for creating a conducive environment worthy of emulation, that has enhanced workers’ productivity, soliciting continued synergy between the management and the staff of the agency.

Responding, Mrs. Longe expressed delight over the conduct of her staff, noting that their support and contributions had added value to the programmes and activities of the Ministry.

 ‘’Civil servants, especially those in my Ministry have been supportive and responsive in all their undertakings. I appreciated Governor Dapo Abiodun for creating an enabling environment for the Civil Service to thrive.  I am also proud to be associated with the State workers for being diligent’’, the Commissioner said.

Speaking earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olu Ola Aikulola who affirmed the support of other MDAs, said regular capacity building, adequate welfare plans, medical check-ups, and the opening of additional zonal offices, among others had contributed to the tremendous achievements recorded so far.

Other MDAs visited include, the Ministries of Environment, Women Affairs and Social Development, Community Development and Cooperatives, Bureau of Establishments and Training, State Pensions, Auditor General, Teaching Service Commission, and others.
