A former presidential Aspirant,  Okeowo Olasubomi has said that the former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win in the forthcoming general elections.

 This was contained in a statement issued penultimate this last weekend, when the APC flag bearer landed in Lagos, days after winning the primaries. 

Recall that Tinubu polled 1,271 votes to defeat former Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Senate President, Ahmad Lawan who polled a meagre 316, 235 and 152 respectively to clinch the 2nd and 3rd and 4th positions respectively.

Okeowo who said he had been one of the few that believed in the BATIFIED dream from the start said he had never seen anyone who encountered Asiwaju, that didn't have a positive story to tell. 

He said "Asiwaju Tinubu is not only for us here in the southwest, he is for the entire universe. He will win in 2023 general elections.

He charged both stakeholders and party members to brace up, saying having produced a flag-bearer of the party, more still needed to be done to win the 2023 presidential election.
