The Chairman, Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC), Mr. Babatunde Osibodu has warned youths against accepting offers from politicians or engage in despicable acts during the fourth coming elections.

Osibodu made this known in Abeokuta, during an interactive session with Participants of the Senior Executive Course 44, 2022 of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, saying they should be wise and disregard offer from any politician that would engage them in snatching ballot boxes, killing or any other vices.

He enjoined citizens to consider making right choices of leaders based on the conviction that they have their interest at heart, adding that the positive impact they have on society should also be looked into.

"We have been speaking to the youth to disregard anyone’s offer to steal ballot paper, please tell him or her to go and send his or her son. They are fond of sending someone else’s children to fight and cause trouble while their own children are somewhere in abroad doing fine", Osibodu said.
