Ogun State Government is set to hold the Gateway Tertiary Institutions Games (GATIG).

A release signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Engr. Olayiwola Abiodun, indicated that the games would hold at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu, between Sunday, May 15 to Wednesday 18, 2022 for public and private institutions, to boost sport development in the State.

The release further stated that, the Game was revived by the Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration to produce talents that would compete for the State in future sport competitions in the country.

Over eight institutions in the State had indicated their preparedness towards the event, as they would be participating in 12 games at the competition.
