The longest serving House of Representatives members who represented Ijebu Central Federal Constituency, Hon. Kehinde Odeneye has endorsed the aspiration of Hon. Femi Ogunbanwo popularly known as OMO-IWA as their preferred choice from the array of aspirants that have indicated interest for the Ijebu Central Federal House of Representatives in 2023.

Odeneye made this known while addressing the APC Local Government Executive Council members of Odogbolu, Ijebu North East and Ijebu-Ode Local Government at their headquarters.

Odeneye whose tenure witnessed numerous mentorship and leadership training as well as skill acquisitions for the youth and also several empowerment programmes for the Artisans and the needy in Ijebu Central Federal Constituency on Thursday 18th May, 2022 led the campaign of Omo-Iwa to the three Local Government Areas under the Federal Constituency.

Odeneye noted that Omo-Iwa has proven that he is a great manager of resources, especially human resources, as he has mentored and groomed political youths that have positively impacted their immediate communities through the posts he held or still holding.

He noted that Barr. Femi Ogunbanwo is a well known experienced candidate for the position having served as a Lawyer for over thirty years and a Senior Legislative Assitant in the National Assembly (Senate) for eight years, saying that these great attributes should not be diminished by persons that are interested only in their own personal agenda to the detriment of the entire nation.

Similarly, Hon. Bolu Owotomo in the same vein has also declared his full support for the aspiration of Barr. Femi Ogunbanwo, noting that he is the best deal for the position of the Ijebu Central Federal Constituency considering his track of records.

In his remarks, Barr. Femi Ogunbanwo while appreciating the Leadership of the All Progressives Congress in Ijebu Central Federal Constituency for their utmost support, assured that he will continue with both the Capital and Human developmental projects in moving forward Ijebu Central Federal Constituency and  our great nation.
