A leading aspirant for the post of Senator for Ogun East Senatorial District, Otunba (Engr.) Adewale Adenaike has dumped the All Progressive Congress Party for the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to fulfill his ambition.

Engr. Adewale Adenaike gave the hint while speaking to Newsmen in Ijebu Ode.

Engr. Adenaike in his words "my resignation was due to the fact that APC has lost its progressive values and has taken exclusionary measures which negates democratic principles".

"I can no longer justify my membership of a Party that is firmly rooted   in the size of your bank balance than competence and capacity"

"It is indeed regrettable that all the tenets of Progressivism have been jettisoned at the altar cash-ism"

"I have therefore, joined the  SDP to fulfill my political dream as the Senator for Ogun East to liberate my people from political slavery, come 2023.

I want to urge all my teaming supporters to remain calm and law abiding as we make this dream a reality" he concluded.
