The Prince Dapo Abiodun's led Administration has acknowledged the prayers of Churches and other religious  bodies in the State saying the prayers  have been efficacious in moving the state forward.

This was the submission of the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Barr. Femi Ogunbanwo while speaking as a guest lecturer at the 16th Synod of Ijebu Aglican Diocese held at Iworo Ijebu in Ijebu North East Local Government area of the State.

Ogunbanwo who spoke on the lecture titled " Towards a Credible General Election: Our civic responsibility". enjoined the church not to relent in their prayers for the people in government.

He urged the church to lend itself as the conscience of the society, so that our country would bounce back on her feet again and bring to reality, the dreams of out founding fathers, saying that with their prayers, Nigeria would be great again.

While speaking, the Bishop of Ijebu Anglican Diocese, Rt. Revd (Dr) Peter Oludipe appreciated the gigantic developmental projects under the present Administration, assuring that as a Church they must continue to seek the face of God for the unity and economic sustainability of our country while offering prayers for our political leaders.

The Bishop while commending the Governor for the even distribution of the developmental projects all across the state, called upon the government not to rest on his oars in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of the State.
