The newly appointed Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mr. Waheed Adesina has assured that he will consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor by improving the welfare of the staff.

Adesina stated this in Abeokuta during the statutory meeting of Information Officers, encouraging them to put in more effort in discharging their duties.

 The Permanent Secretary added that the communication protocol should be observed accordingly and admonished staff to be more committed in their respective duties, urging officers to ensure prompt reportage of government activities to the public in print, online and electronic media.

Mr. Adesina added that suggestion box would be provided in the Ministry for new ideas for the upliftment of the agency.  He advised the staff to adhere to the mode of dressing in the Civil Service.

In his remark, the Director, Planning Research and Statistics, Mr. Samuel Oyeleye, assured of the staff’s cooperation, saying they would be more productive for the betterment of the Ministry and Ogun State at large.

Speaking on behalf of the Information Officers, Mr. Wale Olanrewaju pledged officers’ loyalty and promised to give full support to the Permanent Secretary.
