The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo has acknowledged the receipt of the alteration bills containing the clauses in the ongoing amendments to the nation’s 1999 Constitution transmitted for the State Houses of Assembly.

Oluomo, while announcing the receipt of the bills on the amendments at the plenary, explained that the Clerks of the 36 State Houses of Assembly had received the bills from the Clerk of the National Assembly, Mr. Amos Ojo the previous day, for onward transmission to their various State Houses of Assembly.

The Speaker promised that the State house of Assembly would soon hold Stakeholders’ forum which would harness all relevant inputs into the amendments to the nation’s constitution.
