The leading Aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly in Ijebu North State Constituency II also known as Ifelodun, Odutayo Abiodun (IWOGBE) has taken his consultation to the apex leaders in his Ward, Ward 7 (Oru,Awa, Ilaporu) and the Ward Executives where he declared his ambition to vie for the Assembly position.

In his words, Odutayo noted that his aspiration is to birth a new dawn where representation will be grassroot inclined in which lobbying for what is needed and just for collective enjoyment through upteenth-time consultation, supporting the Executive Governor to achieve more in office through providing more dividends and working on bills that will continue to ensure the development of the Constituency.

His words in part" I am here before you my Elders and Leaders, to humbly seek your support as my Fathers and Mothers from Oru Awa and Ilaporu. Like the popular parlance that the Biggest Masquerade performs last, I am meeting you after we have gone round the other Four Sister Wards to solicit their support. I can't do this without you, you backed my father Iwogbe back then as the Candidate of the defunct Alliance for Democracy, You backed my Father and Leader, Hon JF Adegbesan and today his records have not been defeated, I beg you all to back me to success as well", he pleaded.  

While meeting the Executive Members of the Ward, Odutayo assured his Ward Executives of an unprecedented performance and representation if he is supported to clinch the ticket. 

"I have a long way to go, the Assembly to me is just a starting point, it's a litmus test for me and I can't afford to fail you; let me say it that we all have the freedom to choose, it must not make us enemies, I have no enemy here or outside because once a Candidate emerge we will all work for the crowned. I have no doubt in me that with God, our Leaders and your support, I am going to be the Candidate". 

In their responses, Odutayo was assured of every support he needs. He was told to ensure all irrespective of who they pitch their tent with is carried along because everyone will definitely still work as one if God destines him as the party flag bearer which they have seen the traits in him.

Responding to the immediate needs of the party as asked by a prominent Executive Member, Odutayo assured that he will consult with the leaders of the ward on the way forward towards rebuilding the hall being used for meetings and other fixtures and fittings therein.

Mainwhile, the Coordinators of Odutayo Campaign Organization has been inaugurated yesterday. Inaugurating the Coordinators, Odutayo Abiodun charged the Coordinators to play by the rules, engage more, canvass better and inject all there vigour towards the realization of the goal. He assured them that with dedication and resilience, if he emerges as the Candidate of the party, every one of them will never regret ever working for and with him. 

" Let me charge you my dear Brothers and Sisters, we have a serious work ahead, we must work together day and night to win more delegates to ourselves, we must continue to engage our leaders and elders who are the custodian of our party, we must day and night inject our vigour towards realizing this aspiration. With me, I can assure you, you will not lack anything you need, we will work our talk and together, we will sing a song of victory", he noted.
