A former chairmanship aspirant, Abeokuta South Local Government, Ogun State, Hon. Mustapha Kodaolu, Popularly known as MKO who is under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC will be inaugurated as the secretary to the Local Government on Friday.
MKO will be inaugurated by the chairman of the local government, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi.
The chairman will also swear in, Supervisors, Special Advisers and Consultants.
Mustapha was born to Alh. Chief Muhammad Okikiola Kodaolu and Late Chief Mrs Monsurat Kodaolu. Both parents were Traders from Ogun State that lived and worked in Abeokuta.
Kodaolu is a graduate of Business Management From the South Chelsea College in United Kingdom. He has almost 10 years of post-graduate work experience both in the public and private sector.
He's also a certified professional in the field of Business and Project management.
In the public Sector, Mustapha has served as Councillor Ward 9 in Abeokuta South LG, Ogun State. He also served as the Leader of the House while as Councillor and was also elected Chairman of All Ogun State Councillors. His Position provided an avenue to make impacts in urban reformation, governance process improvements using information technology, digital inclusion, tax consolidation and IGR enhancement, Public-Private Partnership projects, regulation and enforcement to mention but a few.
In the private sector, he has managed technology, real estate, automobile, agriculture, data analytics businesses and social enterprises for over 5 years. He is a strong advocate of the delivery of maximum public value to the people through innovation, use of technology and simple governance policies. MKO, as he is fondly called in Ogun State, realises that all it takes is simple policies that can be sustained and implemented at the grassroots level to make Nigeria, Ogun State and indeed Abeokuta South great.
Olajide is the Executive Manager of the Nigerian Branch of HTS Services INC USA, which also qualifies him to be a board member.
