The newly appointed Permanent Secretary, Hospitals Management Board (HMB), Dr. Quudus Yusuff, has urged health workers in Ogun State to embrace teamwork to achieve optimal productivity.

 Dr. Yusuff said this during a familiarization visit to the State Hospital, Ijebu-Ode, with the members of the management team of the Board.

Yusuff admonished them not to be found wanting at their duty posts, saying they needed to justify the huge money the government invested in them.

"Your strength is in your team, working together as a team will guarantee success, and efficiency for optimal productivity, especially to those medical clients seeking health care attention", Yusuff said.

The Permanent Secretary said that cleaning the hospital environment and facility would guarantee quality healthcare delivery, saying that it is a good practice to display medical fees, which portrays transparency at work.

Speaking, the Head of the facility, Dr. (Mrs) Oluseye Adetola appreciated the Permanent Secretary and the entire team for the unscheduled visit, promising to be more responsive, proactive, and efficient in the discharge of their duties.
