The deliberate approach and plans of the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration in Ogun State in the area of security have attracted more Local and Foreign investment opportunities, and have placed the State as the most secured in the country.

Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Alhaji Waheed Odusile disclosed this in Abeokuta, while receiving the leadership of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria, (FIBAN), Ogun State Chapter and the management staff of Paramount FM, led by the station's new General Manager, Mr. Akinyinka Akintola.

Odusile who affirmed that the present government had made the process of doing business in the State easier said, "investments are coming to Ogun because the State is more secure to invest, work, live and play and we have also been able to improve the ease of doing business".

The Commissioner revealed that the establishment of the industries translates to the individual prosperity of citizens and the economic viability of the State, which according to him is the ultimate aim of the government.

Odusile added that when the Agro-Cargo airport under construction is completed, it would attract more investments, create employment opportunities for the people and bring great economic benefits to the State at large.

The Commissioner urged the leadership of FIBAN and Paramount FM as partners in progress to continue to support the government through the dissemination of accurate information to the people, getting feedback on daily basis for the government.

Speaking earlier, the Chairman, FIBAN, Ogun State Chapter, Mr. Femi Iyanda appreciated the government for all that the Association has been able to benefit from, promising their cooperation to continuously enlighten and educate the populace.

On his part, the new General Manager, Paramount FM, Mr. Akintola said the purpose of the visit was to familiarise with the management of the Information Ministry and to seek its continuous support for the station, pledging to build on the existing relationship with the government.
